A huge (perhaps somewhat bigger than necessary) rectangular terracotta archway that forms an imposing artistic entrance to the garden and lake.
The terracotta tile finishing makes the gateway quite unique for a public park, and visitors who use this gate are likely to remember the park as much for the gate as for the great variety of vegetation inside.
The terracotta tiles have fallen off in places, exposing the underlying concrete.
Needs regular maintenance.
