Long long time ago this type of restaurants were very popular with Bengalis. They will open a little late, will also close by arouNd 9.30 pm. The menu was Chop, cutlets omelettes and bread toast. For hot drinks it would mainly be tea. Though some would also offer coffee. Very simple arrangements where young will hang out. May be with hot tea and mutton cutlets with lots of onions on the side. They were delicious. These will be followed by smoking a cigarette or two. But alas soon Chinese dishes too made their mark with chowmein and chilli chicken etc. But these restaurants are now a vanishing breed. The present one under review has managed to survive but for now long one would wonder.

Few days back I visited Bojangles Cafe.

Location : Ballygaunge Dover Road

In frame :
✔Nachos with Salsa
✔Loaded French Fries
✔Stuffed Mushroom
✔Chicken Popcorn
✔Chicken Wings with BBQ Sauce

Review :
All the items were good, specially stuffed mushroom was just awesome, it was juicy and the taste was really good. Highly recommended their stuffed mushroom. Chicken wings with BBQ sauce was also fingerlicking good. Price was also reasonable and the quantity was also good compared to its price.
Ambience was amazing. A perfect place for hang out with friends.

I had grilled fish (bhekti filet) here at Bojangles in February 2020

Really delicious food, that felt healthy too, spiced the right way (not spicy hot but not bland at all either, still full of flavors, hard to find in India in my experience), portion isn't huge but enough to feel full without wasting or having your stomach hurt, nice plate presentation, friendly staff, English written menu, modern setting, nice colored lights, comfortable seats, clean... Highly recommended! ????
