It is a suburban railway station coming under the Sealdah division. Station is mostly crowded and sheds are not covered all accross the station. Public toilets are open. Station are not so clean and whole station area is covered by various types of small shops. The station is accessible for Big Bazar Hiland Park, Peerless Hospital, Sammilani College, Iris Hospital, Apex Institute of Medical Science. Platform height is low and it is difficult for elders and kids to entrain and detrain from crowded rail coaches. Platform height should be raised.A convenient station to catch trains to Sealdah, Diamond Harbour, Canning, Lakhikantapur. A good business centre nearby has a wholesale market selling lot of goods and products.Staion is mostly crowded and sheds are not covered all accross the station....Picture which I posts also indicates the same....trains are about 5 to 10 minuite late....many trains pass of up and down line about a gap of 10 to 15 min....moderately nice and not so cleaned platform. It is a suburban railway station coming under the Sealdah division on the Sealdah -Sonarpur-Baruipur line... galloping trains doesn't halt here and it's easily accessible via em bypass. Very Congested place. Roads are narrow but due to a railway station in the vicinity, the area is almost always crowded. Footfall is huge. And for this reason, there are several shops, markets in the area. Almost everything except liquor is available there. But again streets are too narrow, hence it's a great hassel for pedestrians as cars and especially auto rickshaws are abundant there. It's pretty close to Jadavpur. And there's an hospital right opposite to the Baghajatin Railway station. Love this experience bcoz its just feel me like my mumbai style location, croudy n noises of vendors and good place, long platforms which may be sustainable fpr 15 car trqins also, loved it and feel good, its good to visit again if i get chace I'll visit again.Baghajatin railway station is a Kolkata Suburban Railway Station on the Sealdah–Namkhana line with an approximate 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) distance from Sealdah railway station. It is under the jurisdiction of Eastern Railway zone of Indian Railways. Baghajatin railway station is one of the busiest railway stations of Sealdah railway division. More than 115 pairs of E.M.U. local trains pass through the railway station on a daily basis. It is situated in Kolkata in the Indian State of West Bengal. Baghajatin railway station serves Baghajatin and the surrounding areas.[1][2]Don't worry... Toilets available.. Platform toilets are closed as long as I know but ask people there has another pay & use toilet just next to platform no 1. & as for drinking water I really don't know much there has or not. I usually buys water from nearby stores. Local train station in Kolkata,Very old station in this area.people are used to train for their work with cheap fair and also for avoiding traffic jam in road.

Avarage railway station at kolkata.
It is the South line of kokata connecting sealdah and othe portion of South begal like syndarban, nakhana, etc.
