Nice flavourful biryani to try! I ordered a special and to my surprise they add good amount of mutton pieces. Apart from one such piece which was little hard and solid, the other pieces were well cooked and tasty. The special has a decent portion for two along with a big size potato. While it was a bit greasy, must try!!

The biriyani of Akrams is very value for money. The price to quantity ratio is best for value for money. The taste is amazing. The aloo is tender and the chicken is very tasty. They also provide chicken as per your requests like if u want breast or leg piece. The packing box is huge. Best for takeouts. I highly recommend trying them out.

Total Disappointing.
First talk about the price. It's Huge. I took Mutton Biryani for Rs.280. It's a price range of High end Biryani joints of Kolkata. But it nowhere stands beside the Barrackpore/Kolkata Biryani joints like DadaBoudi.

Second about the taste. It's not upto the mark. Very lite in nature and the mutton piece also very chewey.

Third is the quantity. In this range one can demand of a good portion size but Akram's Biryani disappoints here too.

Last but not the least NO salad is there in this price range.
