Tucked away in a copy corner of Kalimpong , the very famous Pine View Nursery stands out of the crowd. It's crown jewel is the collection of cacti, in all shapes, sizes , forms and colour. Meticulously collected, planted and labeled as per their categories, the Nursery provide in depth information about this family of plants. Alongside cacti, one can also find other season flowering trees in the vicinity. A small cafe adds to the brightness of the place. A beautiful memorial commemorating the owner/collector remains testimony to his zeal and efforts.

The variety of cactus available at Pine View Nursery is simply impressive. Exotic orchids, rare cacti to fragrant herbs, the nursery boasts an extensive collection that caters to different tastes and interests. A place to admire and purchase plants The expertise of staff's behavior adds value to the visit, making it a valuable learning experience for both novice and experienced gardeners. If you are a cactus lover and want to grab one or two. no, no as many as you want. I never saw cactus with flowers.. It was amazing but not recommended for those who are not interested in cactus. Only a nursery with varieties of cactus is there...

A botanist's and gardener's paradise! I can safely say that this place houses the biggest collection of cactus plants, both local and exotic, that I have ever seen. Neatly arranged in small sections next to each other, this place offers you a breath of fresh air as you go sightseeing at Kalimpong. There is a small canteen at the corner for you to take snacks. Don't miss the statue of the founder of this nursery, Mr. Pradhan which is located at the centre.
