OYO 27940 Monarch Hotel

We went there few days back. We booked through an agency and booked with meal plans. But after reaching there the staffs advised us that they did not arranged lunch. So after 3 hours they served us Rice Dal and Omlette. The staffs are also not professional and cooperative. Rooms are very dirty including washrooms even. Strictly do not book this hotel. It will surely ruin your day.

Take a break, sip a cup of tea and steaming momos while on your way up to Darjeeling or back the plains.

It's really a nice hotel with really nice hospitality.
They didn't even charge any extra bucks for one extra bedding.
The best part is they take the food order coming to your room with the menu and call you via intercom when the food is ready to be served so as to save your time.
The floor mat of the room is also very nicely maintained and looks really neat.
The washroom is hygienic.
The staffs are well maintained.
Restaurants are for both vegetarians and non-vegetarian.
The view from the back side of the room is also very nice.
They even bargained with the taxi driver for me when I was checking out.
I'm giving 5 stars because there is no option for 4.5. lolzzzz..(since, WiFi connectivity was a big problem inside my hotel suite).
