The main attracting part is this monastery is color full and peaceful when I reach there prayer was going on so i didn't enter inside.

Durpin Monastery Visited During Kalimpong Day tour from Darjeeling in Nov 2022.
Quite a Peaceful place.
And Passes Through Army Cantonment .
Though We could not see inside more than 5 mins s it was almost their Lunch time ..

A phenomenal place of buddist learning, this ancient monastery is really remarkable. This place has a statue of padmasambhava and buddha here. There are many relics and books which are kept here. The hall room is really well decorated. Many Lama s are studying here in the residential complex. As this ancient monetary is little secluded, it does maintain that ancient charm with the holy vibe.
