The Panchanan Mandir , 23, Panchanantala Road, Howrah- 711 101 was established in approximately 687 (six hundred eighty seven) Bengali Calender. Enclosed kindly find a photo of marble engraved on 687 Bengali Calendar, year of setting up on a permanent basis. It was adopted in about 739 years back. Anybody may kindly visit Baba Panchanan, worshipped God and the documentary marble.
It is mentioned here that Kolkata's History begins by Job Charnok as a representative of the British East India Company in 1690 AD.
