In my opinion, Laxmi Vilas Garden is the finest banquet and marriage hall you'll get in Howrah. The hall is huge and eye-catching. The outside garden is spacious and can accommodate many people at a time. It is the best place for wedding or reception parties. But!! A big drawback is there to say no to this place. Only vegan food is allowed at this place. So it may or may not be, a major problem for you.

I dont know how people have rated this place highly. No doubt, the place is in a very nice location. But the owners or the current leaseholders are absolute nightmare. They would motivate you to save taxes on bookings. Once you enter this labyrinth there is no going back. There is no receipt, there is no particular person to talk to. I would request folks to be very vigilant while dealing with these land occupiers else be sure to loose money. #not recommended

Pros - nice decorative banquet hall with large carpet area .you will get enough space
Big lawn you will get with banquet just beside Ganga which will give you a good environment
Cons - you can only have veg there. Non veg is not allowed .this biggest drawback .
You have use there catering service .you can't hire from outside
In the rainy season you can't utilities the ground .as they don't provide any pandal or carpet facilities for the ground
