Before lockdown, bankra super market was one of the top market in bankra for raw material for readymade garments. But after lockdown the market has gone flop. Some because of the bad market conditions,and some because of the high lease rate of the shops. Rent/lease of the shop doubles after each year. Shop owners forces the tenant to double,or increase the rent at a very high percentage every year, failing which,the tenant is compelled to vacate the shop resulting in the closure of the shops. This system has finally resulted into the failure of the market. At present in 2022/23 more than half of the shops in this market has been shut down. Now the shop owners are searching for the tenants, and are ready to rent/lease their shops at a very very cheap rate, but no one agrees to take the Shop in super market.
