This is a very nice temple at Bally. The place is well maintained having all sorts of facilities for the devotees like clean toilets, availability of drinking water etc. This is a Shiva temple. Ramakrishna Paramhans Deb once pay visit to the place. There is a big pond at the front side of the temple. The place is well visible from the main road.

The temple devoted to Lord Shiva and located in city Bally, Howrah a state in West Bengal is known as Kalyaneshwar Temple. The temple is as old as 500 years. The devotees who visit the temple are thousand numbers of monks each year. The other temples that are located in the complex of the temple are of Goddess Kali, Lord Ganesh, Lord Vishnu and Lord Bajrangbali. The temple is located in the extreme north-eastern direction in Howrah. The River Hooghly flows near the temple. The other temple that is very near to Kalyaneshwar temple is the Dakshineswar Kali Temple that is devoted to Mata Kali. The Shiva Lingam that is in the temple has appeared from the earth by itself. The others who visited the temple are Ramakrishna Dev and his followers who belonged to the Ramakrishna Mission. Swami Vivekananda and Swami Brahmananda also worshipped the temple. Mahashivarartri and Charaksankranti are the two major festivals celebrated in this temple.

Holy Kalyaneshwar Shiva Temple.. Ramkrishna Paramhansa also came here for offering pujas to Lord Shiva.. Located at Bally Dewangazi.. Belur Math and Dakshineshwar Temple are not far..
