The road leading to the place was aweful with meat shops, dogs and very unhygienic. No sign/display board was there ,so was difficult to find. Car do not reach to that place so you have to walk about 1.5km the mall road with your luggage. Though porters are easily available with a reasonable charge.
Rooms are sufficient ( not too big) though bathrooms were smaller than expected. Gysers are not available for 24*7 .

Host was good, though very professional. Was satisfied with the hospitality.
And the homestay was walking distance from Mall road.

This homestay near to the mall.
The owner of the homestay is very hospitable.
It is good for the senior citizens who want to visit Darjeeling.

We had an amazing experience staying here for two days! Loved absolutely everything, from rooms to the amazing balcony offering you a lovely view including a beautiful sunrise. Do sit in their Prayer Room for sometime (do not forget to remove your shoes before you enter). Has almost all modern amenities you can think of, and that includes Netflix too! I loved the hospitality of the host and I definitely recommend this place to all who seek a reasonable homestay close to the Darjeeling Mall. And if you're an animal lover, you're definitely going to fall in love with Ginger! Would love to stay here again on my next visit. :)
