Excellent host and nice location… best part is the mountain bike ride.. coming from crowded Darjeeling town, its so pleasant and peaceful to ride through scenic senchal sanctuary… maybe this is the place made my Darjeeling visit worthwhile…

Offbeat adventure to experience in Darjeeling beyond touristy places.
Himalayan Mountain Biking in a Wildlife Sanctuary with bunk and trails.

We cycled within a Sanctuary for hours, where we found dense forest, sheer greenery, Senchal Lake surrounded by pine trees. Fog and clouds just enhanced its beauty.
Trail was extremely scenic. Biking enthusiast and the host Wong is super friendly and he accompanied me throughout the journey.

Also we rode within the city to cover places like Batasin loop, Ghum monastery etc. which were in 2 kms radius from the place. Wonderful experience all together :)

Had an awesome stay at Bunk and trails.Got a lifetime experience riding uphill to Tiger Hill to see the magical sunset and the other day rode the mountain bikes towards Chatakpur through the Senchal forest. Place is near to Batasai, Tiger hill, Lamahatta and also you can get a cab towards darjeeling town just 20 metres from here and the fare is just 30rs. Since ghoom is situated at a higher altitude, the weather is pretty cold due to tiger hill being closeby but the room felt cosy as we were 5 of us staying and also the flooring was fully carpeted. We'll visit again soon.
