It's one of the standout laterite temples in the ancient town of Bishnupur. The marvelous inscriptions and delicate architecture on the outer & inner walls of the temple are bound to take your breath away. This temple is situated right under the eyes and supervision of the ASI (Archeological Survey of India), because their regional office is located inside the garden compound of this temple itself. Photography is allowed, but videography is prohibited here. Being a revered heritage site of Bengal, please keep this area clean and tidy.????????

one of the heritage historical place in India....there are many temples....the temple had their own different history..also there is weapons,,which is used by the king of Bengal.... every one should come this place to see these wonderful things...

Kalachand Temple is a Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu located in Bishnupur Town in Bankura District of West Bengal State, India. The Temple was built in 1656 AD by Malla King Raghunath Singha. The Temple is located at about 2 Kms from Bishnupur Bus Stand, 4.5 Kms from Bishnupur Junction Railway Station and 2.5 Kms from Bishnupur New Bus Stand.
