I have visited after 25 years with my daughter and remembered my childhood memories which made me nostalgic. My daughter was very excited to visit this monument. But one On-duty policeman who was seated with shoes at the monument told me to remove my shoes. I asked him why he was wearing his shoes at the monument,so he told me he has the permission to wear shoes but when I asked him to show me the order, his colleague told him to step down from monument. It was a very disappointing experience for me and my daughter.
However other than cleanliness and policeman attitude the place is very good. The view of the river Hooghly is very nice and soothing.

It was a very enjoying experience to stay afloat in a room in the river bed with water flowing up & down during high tide and ebb. Witnessing the glowing red sun going down during sunset , the brightly illuminated bank on the otherside at night and the morning fog covering the river bed into a blind hazy wall were mesmerising.

A perfect place to have breeze of Hoogly River at Serenity.

Discipline:
This area is completely controlled by Cops and they maintain the discipline there. Nobody can go down the ghats to bath at the river. Going to river is forbidden.????????????u200d♀️

Perfect Serenity:
If anyone wants to spend some time at the bank of Hoogly River or to watch the Sun sets, this is a perfect place, far from the chaos of the city. ????????

Final tips: Watching Sun set from here is a mesmerizing experience ????
