I was a student here and have completed my bachelor's of education degree from here. Back then it was known as National Institute for the Mentally Handicapped. It is certainly a premier institute for learning about intellectual disabilities and how to deal with them or treat them. Parents with their children with intellectual disabilities come to get expert opinions here which are absolutely fruitful. Children with cerebral palsy, autism, ADHD, Down's Syndrome, borderline or below average IQ are treated and trained with utmost care.
