Very busy place and crowded with traffic of havy loaded truck. place is risky , one must remain very careful at the time of crossing the road. But those who want to get SBSTC bus it is the best place to get frequent bus for durgapur , kolkata Jhargram, aarambag, Purulia, Khatra. No rest room or shelter is here , specifically in rainy days or at the time of storm you face very difficult to get shelter.

This is always a crowded place and people are always roaming here and there for catching the bus and some newspaper men and stalls of sweet etc. are also there. This places not at all clean and hygienic and always people through wrappers and all rubbish there as there is no system of dustbin because the Bankura municipality is not very interested about these matters. The gandheswari river is near to it and currently the bridge over the gandheswari river is blocked due to flood devastation the last year and so the road beside the Hanuman Mandir is being used for now temporarily maybe the bridge over gandheswari river will not be opened unless and until it is totally repaired. So the buses go by that road only.
