This place is not suitable for anyone who wants a clean room, water or electricity. The maintenance is non existent. Sure, they are painting the outside, the bits visible to the public, but the rooms are appalling. Electricity and water go off irregularly every day. The locals refer to the management here as "The Mafia". The room I had, had no hot water for 4 days, despite complaing. It turned out the plug was broken. The electrician cut the wires, and just jammed then into the socket. (in a bathroom! ) I pulled them out & told him to fit a new plug! It calls itself an Asram but is run like a hotel, with complete disregard for anyone staying here. If there's no water, no electric or even no shower... Oh well, nobody cares... Just pay up.
I bought bedding!! and brought a sleeping bag.

Overall, a dreadful experience.

Hi Friends, with this post, I don't want to hurt emotions of the persons staying at this Bhawan. But I want to tell about it's bitter reality and want to let you know that this place is very poorly maintained. Starting from the person handling the booking was very rude. The cost of room booking was comparatively high which is being asked while check-in. The rooms were completely unclean, bed-sheets were dirty (sweat stains can be seen on bed sheets). Bathroom was also very dirty. Drinking water was also a problem. There are lot of mosquitoes around the surrounding and even in the room. Dust can be seen everywhere with a lot of garbage under the bed. There used to be a lot of electric cut (every day and night) with no power backup. We reported all these issues to the Bhawan manager and its staff but they don't care about it and even they start to have a rough behaviour towards the people raising their voice against them. Food quality was just okey and an amount of Rs. 50 was charged per head. Young children (above 2 years) are also required to pay for the food. For the first time travellers with their families to this place and making the room booking, I will not recommend this place and the rest is your choice.

If you want to maintain the sanctity of an ashrama, then don't use your rooms for oyo.
And when an adult male and another adult female book 2 separate rooms, they did that because they wanted to live in separate rooms, don't try to humiliate them.
