This statue can be considered as one of the main attraction of Triveni ghat. The statue describes the story of reincarnation of mother ganga on the earth and the role of lord shiva to avert the damage which would have happen if ganga would have been came to earth directly. This statue depicts how lord shiva absorbed ganga into his hairs.
