If you are in Rishikesh you must do river rafting. One of the rememberable memory of my life. For 16km they will ask you to pay 800, 600 but the original price is 300-400 depending upon the number of people you're and we have done it @400. Our instructor bhim was awesome and may be the best over there. Cliff jumping was very good. Also tell your instructor that you want to swim in the ganga and also in one of the tides. If you are going for rafting book your room in place name tapovan. Try to go in first batch so that you can timely finish your rafting and do other stuff in rest of the day. 16km rafting will take 2½hrs. You can take your phone and wallet with you your instructor will have a bag in raft, he will take your pics while rafting and cliff jumping. Overall it was great experience.and yes it was safe.

Awesome experience, rafting for the first time, a bit afraid but with friends just forgot the fear, always wear life jackets and helmet, and listen to the guide,
Be careful, calm and... Just enjoy
