A perfect place for free-style exercise lovers !! This gym is built beside marine drive (asthapath) and is a good place for a quick exercise. All the equipments are based on free exercises and people from any age group can easily learn to work on them. The gym mostly runs in morning and evening.... young, adult or old aged people are all seen here working out. There's also slides and swings (was!!). Plus there's a ghat near the gym where people do meditation and yoga.
On the whole this place is amazing with quick and easy equipments along with a mesmerizing view (especially the sunrise).
Even after being nearly perfect it still has some gaps due to which it deserves 3 stars only. The one thing that can never be changed is the dedication and maintenance by both the authorities as well as the citizens. People are not at all careful with the equipments and they have very poor dedication in keeping these instruments safe and intact. Some insane people use these equipments as if it were for the last time and that nobody else is going to use them next. People should understand that if they're given some useful things... They should use them carefully and take care of them even if they're not there personal belongings. Public properties are always poorly managed by the very people who use them for their own benefit.
Also the authorities have done nothing to fix the is equipments .... The damages done 2 to 3 years back I still there and there has been no maintenance about it.
There was this beautiful swing made for kids (kids who arrived with their parents in the evening loved that swing).... But some boys of 20-30 age group came. The swing that was made for kids and only two could sit at one time..... 4 of those boys were sitting together and thus destroyed it in just 2 days.
And now nobody knows how long before it gets fixed again !!!

One of the less known best places in Rishikesh. Perfect for a silent leisure hangout along the ganga for couples and family. Morning and evening walk are a bliss on the walking trail free from vehicles. Outdoor gym is very well setup for kids and health conscious ones. Love this place. I stay around here and I don't miss a day hanging out here.
