This newly inaugurated Janaki Jhula or Janaki bridge on river Ganga at Rishikesh is yet another feather to Rishikesh’s cap for people to cross over the river. It’s prior to Ram Jhula and Laxman jhula. It’s meant for pedestrians but saw two wheelers crossing the bridge.
It really makes the long journey and walking the stairs much more easy. You can reach Geeta Bhavan in no time. We loved walking over it enjoying the cool breeze. A new market with many shops has also been built near the bridge.

Its also know as janki bridge on map. Good view from here. Proper space for pedestrians and two wheelers.
