Though it has a huge parking space, it's a badly maintained area. If the area is wet after rain then you will just find mud all around which makes it difficult to put your feet down or walk out after parking your car. There's a strong foul smell because one part of it is being used as dumping zone. Parking charge is Rs100. Parking is a HUGE problem in Nainital and taxi charges Rs150 from this parking space till mall road/Malli Taal which is 2 km away.

Consider it your safe bet to park your car, if you are in nainital. Lot of space. Although managed in the same Indian style of car parking as anywhere in India. But yes. Nice.

The biggest problem in Nanital is parking. And at weekend all parkings are full. Even if you get the parking, no conveyance is available to reach your hotel and vice versa. We have to walk almost 2 km from our hotel room to parking with luggage since no taxi was ready to go there due to traffic jam. Horrible situation in Nanital at week end.
