Had to check in to this hotel as it started raining and it was a bad decision. The rooms were stinking, there was no water in bathroom. Sofa was also torn out as if it was bought from kabaadi. There were insects roaming around bed. The only good thing was location and parking. Do check rooms thoroughly for running water, bed etc. Do not fall for the pics of beds appearing on Google, it's not that in reality

This one is located right at the start of the Mall road literally walking distance from the entry to the town. It is one of the oldest establishment on Mall road and despite attempts at up keeping the age has begun to tell. Some rooms are better than the others largely because of the renovations that have been made. All rooms open to a terrace balcony giving a view of the Naini lake. The room amenities are just better than elementary. Service is slow mostly because they prepare things fresh and you would be rewarded with hot meals. Its not a bad deal for the price point in a popular tourist destination.

Never ever go for Hotel Mansarover, if you don't want to risk your life. I have just visited 2 days back to Nainital with my wife and 2 years daughter. I booked a room and went for nearby lake and mall road. When we returned to the room in night, a large scorpion and many dangerous insects were in my room. We requested to change my room but the manager didn't. Instead he was talking rudely, and giving excuses that room are full. My little daughter woke up by unexpected shouting at late night, we were so scared that some insect bite her. The whole night me and my wife didn't sleep and keep watching, & protecting to ourselves. In the very first morning we left that room and opted another hotel.
