I recently stayed at Hotel Himalaya for 3D-2N and wanted to share my experience. While the hotel had some positive aspects, there were a few issues that made my stay less enjoyable.

Firstly, I found the staff at the front desk to be quite unwelcoming. Their lack of warmth and hospitality was disappointing. It would have been nice to receive a friendly greeting upon arrival and to have encountered a more helpful attitude throughout my stay.

Secondly, the food at the hotel was rather average. I was hoping for a more memorable dining experience, but the dishes lacked flavor and creativity. While the meals were not terrible, they certainly did not live up to my expectations.

Additionally, I had booked a lake view cottage room with a balcony specifically to enjoy the outdoor space. However, I was unable to make use of the balcony due to ongoing repair work in front of my room. The constant presence of workers and the noise they generated made it impossible to relax and enjoy the outdoor area. This was quite disappointing as I had been looking forward to spending time on the balcony.

Lastly, one of the inconveniences I encountered was the lack of accommodation for drivers. There was no designated area for drivers to stay, which meant they had to find alternative arrangements outside the hotel premises or sleep inside car. This added an extra hassle and inconvenience for both me and my driver.

A cottage lake view room at the hotel was booked for 2 days. Hotel is beautiful with stunning view of the prime location and naini lake. We stayed at cottage room for just 1 day due to terrible experience and requested to change the room. Staff cooperated and shifted is to heritage room. Stay at heritage room was an awesome experience. I would recommend to go for heritage rooms only as the rooms are bigger, neater and well maintained washrooms, soft mattress, mind blowing ambience.Overall me and my family had an everlasting great experience on the second day.

Overall experience was Average.
Best thing about the hotel is its connectivity to the mall Road.

I have chosen lake facing room which was a quite good, room was quite big enough, and the view from the room was mesmerizing.
Biggest problem with the hotel is they dnt have Amenities like LIFT. Everytime whenever we want to access our room we have to climb almost 5 storey building steps.

Food was just ok. Dnt have much options in the buffet counter.
Go for in room Dining.

Staff was very helping and everytime ready to serve.
Good connectivity to mall road and tallital bus stand
You can find scooter or car on rest just few steps from the hotel

Average hotel with good lake facing view room.
