Whistling Thrush is run by the most friendly and likeable couple in Nainital. They provide personal touches to your stay and make you more comfortable than your home. The food they provide is exquisite in taste and the homestay is more comfortable than many 3* hotels. My visit and stay in Whistling Thrush has left me wanting to go back again and again.

We recently stayed at Whistling Thrush for two weeks. It is managed by an amazing couple - Col. Chauhan and his wife Ratna.
What a comfortable stay it was!! The cottage was excellently located, very well maintained, excellwnt view, very clean and the food was simply great..can't forget about Ratna's complimentary goodies with almost all the meals...one can make out her personal touch in serving the food.
I'll be missing the natural morning alarm by the birds. The place could also be a bird watchers' paradise.
This memorable stay at Whistling Thrush will bring us back to it again and again.

If u r going to Bhimtal and not staying in Whistling Thrush cottage, u r doing a blunder.
The cottage is beautifully maintained, food is finger licking, view is awesome. Best part is that the owners are very polite and co operative. Always helping.
There are good food outlets nearby.
Will visit again in summers.
