I have given 5 star rating mainly because of two things : 1) Hotel Manager Shashank was very courteous and prompt. 2) Team was trying to amend the problems, as and when the complaints were pouring in

Having said that, there were many loopholes, which they attempted to fix, in vain. Initially, my door lock was not working, we complained, and team spent 30-40 minutes to fix it. Balcony door in room, was not having a door handle, so it was difficult to lock it. My room was not having water geyser. Outside balcony at back side, hotel area is having garbage.
We asked for extra mattress, and they made it available only at Rs.500. That was good. Hotel is not near lake, but at 3 kms from it. But there is good market around Hotel. They have made parking arrangements too.

Hotel is good and staff member are good too. It's good for stay but if you order food from there restaurent then you need to wait for atleast 1.5 hours. We stayed for 2 days and same we had to wait for food. We ordered food 1 hour ago but they delivered after 2.5 hours.

Kanara hotel is what.i found best in my trip to uttrakhand...located in prime location,next to main highway, kids friendly , comfortable, food is awesome specially the restaurant in it...staff is very friendly and helpful . Our stay was really looked after by the staff.i would recommend this hotel for others also ...if you want home like feel ,just stay here
