Out of the huddle bustle of world this peaceful breathtaking view of Himalayas is real treat for travellers who wish to have time in the lap of nature. Very well maintained and staff is really caring. They ensure you always have warm chapatti and the cleanliness of rooms and view will force you to come back again. Khali is an amazing place with beautiful view and very peaceful surroundings. Its vast property with swings, hammock and lots of birds chirping around. The view of Nanda Devi is also visible on clear days. The staff is friendly and they take good care of you. We even met the owner and he explained the history of the place with great details. When I came back, I left my heart over there as its a very peaceful and serene place. Please dont expect to live there like a normal resort. There are no TVs in their rooms and no internet and intercom. But its a comfortable place and they have developed a way to take care of all needs of their residents. Its a vegetarian place as Gandhi ji once visited there and they have kept the old memories alive as much as they could. The duplex rooms are noisy with less privacy but I guess its been made for family with small kids. A lovely and nice place to visit with local opportunities of sight seeing. A 3 days visit for short span visitors but one can stay there for months if you are a nature lover.
