It's very old water tank near the ghat of Varanasi. It's one of my favourite view point in varanasi. you can see the whole ghats from it

It's a very calming experience to watch the river right next to this water tank. Some say that the tank was built during the British rule in India. However, it needs to be verified. The tank serves to store river water and supplied further for processing before distribution to city for drinking purposes. It lies in the shadow of a big Peepal tree and provides a useful shelter to stray animals during summers.
