V old and v Important bridge in Varanasi built on the Varuna River. After the recent remodeling and beautification of the surroundings the bridge has become very beautiful. Now it is a one way bridge before the construction of the second new bridge situated on the west of this bridge, the Victory Bridge was very important which was only bridge to join the two parts of Varanasi. Barnapul Masjid is also situated on the south bank of the Varuna river just near the Victory Bridge. Thanks to all.

This bridge over river Varuna was constructed in 1945 in place of The Old Stone Arched Bridge built in 1789 which was washed away in the flood of 1843.
