It is not a just college it's a feeling of millions students of this college.when you enter here you are surprised to see this beautiful lush green campus and old style Rajshahi Buildings and Give more thanks to Rajarshi Uday Pratap Singh Zoodev Bhinega King Currently In Nepal Who built this college I always down my head and doing namaste in front of statue when I go there.

This college sets an example for others
The environment of the college itself tells you about it's punctuality and discipline. Every extra curricular activity was very well flourished wether it's sports and NCC. The thing which which impressed me the most was the ground which was very maintained with football field and hockey field as well.
I spent most of my time in the ground during my visit but what i experienced was this is how a college should be ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Udai Pratap Autonomous College is situated on lush green pollution-free landscape in the North-Western part of the holy
city of Varanasi. Udai Pratap Autonomous
College was founded in 1909 by Rajarshi Udai Pratap Singh Ju Deo as Hewett Kshatriya High School. This was the period when cultural and sociopolitical awareness in our country was at its peak. This institution was raised to the level of Intermediate College in 1921 and named Udai Pratap Intermediate College, Varanasi. The institution was further elevated to the level of
degree College named Udai Pratap College in July 1949 with the commencement of undergraduate classes in Arts and Commerce. With the beginning of Science classes in 1950, Agriculture in 1963 and B.Ed. in 1972. the arrangement of undergraduate studies covered almost all important disciplines.
At present Post Graduate classes in 17 subjects and post Sciences graduate diploma in Computer and Environmental Sciences are being run by the college. A number. of research projects in different departments have either been completed or in the process of completion. At present college is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth, Varanasi. The college was conferred Autonomy by U.G.C. in 1991. It has the distinction of being the first college of Uttar Pradesh to have this status. It has its own board of studies, academic council and RDC. All the departments of science and agriculture have separate laboratories for UG and PG classes. All the departments have computer with internet facilities. Our Central library has about one lac 25 thousand books and 4500 bound volumes of periodicals. The central library is in the process of being online.College has beenaccredited "B"grade by NAAC In college recognized as College with potential for Excellence by UGC,FIST (Fund for improvment of infrastructure in science &Technology)by DST college has also been selected byDBT under Star College Scheme in the year
