Pros:
1) This place is situated along side the Ganga river so the view is good from the seats which are near to the far end of the restaurant.

Cons( not cons actually but not +ve points) :
1) The food is not very great or out of the box (it's not bad either it's just not the USP of this place). It's normal food as good as you can get at any place in Varanasi.
2) There is a washroom but that's indian style and odour wise does not smells hygienic.
3) The food to price ratio is not very great. While there are places in Varanasi where you can get lipsmacking Bati-chokha at half a price and then there is this place. Although I do agree price is not only for the food but also for ambience and the place but still prices could have been 20-25% lower than what is being charged just in the name of view.
4) Table to attendant/waiter ratio is also not very great, you might see some people giving negative reviews due to bad service, the service is not bad it's only that attendants are less and tables are more so usually it takes 30-35 minutes after giving the order for the food to reach at your table.

Conclusion:
A place to eat Bati-chokha only if view is the most important criteria of your meal.

Also called the River Restaurant from the outside for visitors knowledge.

we ordered the veg byrany rice and veg pakota (6 pieces per serving). The food came incredibly quick and all hot.

The portions were good the price was fair, especially considering it’s a water front location. The flavor was there too, although the byrany was on the spicier side our liking.

Overall an enjoyable evening.

Food is average, but the night view is awesome, also the staff members are polite, warm and cosy, village life outlook ????but
