It's a South Indian temple dedictaed to Lord Shiva and is located in the popular and mostly crowded Hanuman Ghat residential area.

The temple tower (Gopuram in Tamil) is very unique and represents the Dravidian style of architecture and thus this temple symbolises the ages-old connection between Kashi and Tamilnadu.

Probably this is the only temple in Kashi where one can find such Dravidian style Gopuram.
