This linga was installed here by Jarasandh in Mahabharat times more than 5K years ago. Behind the linga there is a room with 100's of lingas also very ancient. They were worshipped by different yogis, devotees and siddhas. End of their life they left them in Kashi or were collected and brought here. Temple is close to Meer ghat

This temple is inside of bada Hanuman temple only. Here the Hanuman is swayambu, you will also find kapila maharshi Jiva samadhi inside of this temple, you will also find rahu swayambu and nandhi with wings, narasimha face on shiva ling and many different things which I haven't seen anywhere. People from South must visit place.....this temple is back side of vishalashi matha temple only.
