I stayed there with my wife from March 08 to 12 last week. We did enjoy our stay in Varanasi very much. Hosts , Dhruv, Naditha and Shailendra were very helpful. Will recommend this homestay to my friends travelling to Varanasi.
Room was clean and tidy. We had our dinner on the day of arrival and breakfast at Shivoham on three days. The home cooked food was delicious.
One reason I chose Shivoham initially was, it is very near to Ganga. Just a few hundred meters to the nearest Ghat.
I also express my thanks to Abha Pandey whom I had contacted for making reservations.

Good place for this price of 10k for 4 nights.
I was skeptical at booking this place at first because there are not much reviews and it is a fairly new construction, hardly a year.

But I am happy that I booked this because I came with my parents and they needed privacy and AC on their room which we got here.

We booked a double bedroom apartment hence we were given 2 full rooms with our private kitchen and a clean private toilet in our private apartment. We used the kitchen to make tea and Maggi. The rooms were clean.

It is better to book a double bed apartment here because if you book a single then maybe you would have to share a kitchen and bathroom which would not be so good option.

The only con was that our room was on 2nd floor and my mother had knee pain so it was a task for her to walk all the way up.

This is near to assi Ghat which 20 mins driving distance from the famous godowlia chowk so I have to book an auto everytime but auto is 10 rs per seat so if you travelling solo then it's ok.

Last time I had booked a room near dasaswamed ghat which was good because everything was near. But it was in narrow lanes so hard to walk in lanes. This one is fairly accessible by drive.
