This auditorium is situated inside the faculty of performing arts building, Banaras Hindu University.It is a bigger hall , mainly used for different programmes,concert and on other occassion.It has a good sitting capacity but ,u will not find sitting chair.

This is one of the best auditorium in BHU premise. It is of the faculty of performing arts where students come here and practice their cultural and traditional dances. Also many seminars and events take place quite often. It is also main venue for spandan annual cultural festival competition of BHU. Pt. Onkaar Nath ji was one of the most pioneer in performing arts.

The Faculty of Performing Arts came into existence in the year 1966 owing to the unyielding efforts of Pt.Govind Malviya and Pt. Omkarnath Thakur. It has since then been responsible for training and teaching students the intricacies of dance and music. The Pt. Onkarnath Auditorium belongs to the Faculty of Performing Arts at the BHU. The state-of-the-art event space is complete with the latest sound and light equipment. It is frequently used for events conducted by the faculty as well as various other cultural events.
