All visitors to Varanasi- Nandey’s chai shop is undoubtedly the best place to drink chai in the whole city. His masala is unique and his technique has been perfected for years. However, what’s special about his shop is the feeling. It’s a great place to hang out, talk, relax, and just enjoy the moment. Both locals and tourists come here to enjoy. It’s a beautiful experience.

I have been coming to India for a long time, visiting many places, having chai.. but Nandey's tea shop has always stood out for me and is still my favourite place.
I highly recommend it, Nandey is one of the most professional chai makers you will meet and he sets a very pleasant atmosphere for you to enjoy a good cup of chai!

A five star tea and coffee place where they take an artisan approach to preparing their small menu of teas and coffees.
This sometimes means a little wait, but it's worth it.
The filter coffee is very good and excellent value at only 40 rupees.
You'll find an ever changing mix of foreign and Indian tourists and locals making it a great people watching spot.
