I didn't like the place at all... Oue room was little, dirty an without window. The bathroom was tiny and so dirty... The toilet was also broken. No hot watter any moment of the day. Outside the rooms were a lot of rubish like bottles, papers, plastic bags... I felt wrong in there and the people from the hostel were not nice with us. They were always busy and when we asked something they always phoned somebody to answer our doubt. The only positive thing is the restaurant in the roof top with the nice cooker. Nice food but a bit slow.

After being denied at our booked and payed oyo hotel and having to go through a hassles of trying to get the refund we stumbled upon this guesthouse. The owner was so friendly we felt very welcome. He arranged for us a tuktuk at a fair price to go see the nearby sights in the short time we had left before nightfall. He offered to escort us himself to the ganges and being two girls we we’re very greatfull for that. Nobody bothered us at the ganges and he explained a lot about the rituals. Great stay would recommend!

This place has the shadiest manager. He is rude and inconsiderate. After learning that I got heavy discount from goibibo, he gave me the tinies room ever with no flush, wash basins etc. Just a double bed. The room should be max 300 rupees instead of some 800 rupees I was charged by the site. After complaining to goibibo, I got my room changed and this manager had the audacity to blame me for the incident and claiming that site knows nothing and here only I will help you so next time make sure you call me directly. He will also try to overcharge you by offering you rides from station and to ARTIs but go out on your own and take no advice from this man. He does not have a genuine warm heart and is probably trying to make more money from you. But good thing is he keeps to himself and did not bother us much. Though he asked questions about my relationship with a male friend I was traveling with, in my absence. I doubt if he asks such questions to the foreigners.
Also he asked us to check out by 10am while the site says 12noon and he blamed it on our behavior.
This place does not give you a good vibe! The manager made me feel uncomfortable all the time.
Also I booked another room for three days for a friend who came a day late. He did not give us the room keys on the day she did not come and made her switch rooms on both days she was in Varanasi!
There are better hotels in Varanasi with better view and much better staff!
