Even in the heat of summer this place is wonderful early morning and in the evening. The approach roads are not very clean but the ghat is very clean. There are some fantastic eateries there. Pizzeria is one of them. It's very peaceful in the night and don't be surprised to see people (NOT crowd) hanging around till late in the night- singing and all that. It's a place worth visiting, next to Assi ghat. The stretch of road that leads to the ghat is a local market and you can pick up your vegetables and essentials, laundry and other staff.

Quite and atmospheric ghat. Sometimes they sell really interesting things here, like original paintings or small animals carved out of stone. There's a tea stoll and some benches to seat and watch Ganga.
