The ambience is good. The variety of Dosas is huge. The taste was more towards authentic South Indian food than is found in most restaurants. My suggestion as a South Indian would be to avoid Mysore Masala Dosa, but my North Indian wife said that the taste is more suitable for people here. Not only was service quick, the food was better than most places.

Well the food was good,except we didn't like the sambhar, yeah service was not upto the mark as the waiters were not attentive and we constantly needed to ask for things ourselves even though the restaurant was not crowded, as for the price tamarind has always been expensive but we like the nostalgia of the place, be it the floor sitting, welcome drink or the fact that the place still looks the same after so many but it's maintained and clean. All in all it is a good restaurant though it was one of the best a few years back but well I guess it didn't age well .

Pathetic service and pathetic food. Highly overpriced and we waited for 45mins to get our food. The staffs are untrained and they serve cold sambhar. The dosas are highly priced but don't justify the pricing. The taste is just bland and no matter what you order it is going to taste the same. Please do not waste your time and money going there.
