This place is used for functions like weddings , get together , birthdays and other ceremonial activities . The facilities are average . Nothing very great to mention or suggest . If have no other options than you can finally check in this place . Yes this can be lighter to your pocket .

The place was epic once. I was a small kid when I attended BJP's rally in the hall and took the autograph of the legendary Shatrughan Sinha. I also remember going for several magic shows here. There used to be cultural programs in the past as well. Agarwal Samaaj also organised an annual fair, which was really a fun treat. But, the biggest let down is the landfill in front of it. I have taken this pic from the internet. It shows the sad state of this magnificent place. About 20-25 years back, this place was being renovated and my grandfather used to take me there to collect shells from the sand. There was an old shool building in the nearby ground which was taken down many years ago. Although, for those who reside nearby, DJ and Orchestra during wedding seasons is irritating. Haven't gone inside the hall since many years, don't think it is well kept. The facade of this place was amazing. Back in the day, it was a landmark. It still is! Chandralok Cinemas, Mandapam etc. These are some of the gems of OG Allahabad!
