This temple is around 300 to 400 years old (as per the locals). This is a very small shrine and architecturally not very attractive but is a historical part of allahabad settlement history. Exact opposite to this one more shrine is present and of the same scale. In this area of colonelganj I have seen about 7 to 8 such temples dating to same timeline and of same scale. Originally they are constructed of stone but now some have been painted.
