Daryaganj was on my bucket list since their pitch was aired on the shark tank. Butter chicken is my go to dish and it's history and invention really made me excited. Finally after multiple failed plans I visited the restaurant and tasted the original butter chicken and honestly it didn't disappoint me and will definitely revisit the restaurant for this iconic dish.
Apart from that, the ambience of the restaurant is just ok. The sitting is a bit congested but I believe because of the crowd they had to make a sitting like this.
Please note that they always have a waiting of around 1.5 hours on weekends. To avoid waiting, you can book your table and then go shopping in the mall. You will get a call from the restaurant once the table is free for you.
Food is no doubt delicious here. I have tasted the original butter chicken and It was really good.
I would recommend this to try at least once.

My all-time favourite go-to place whenever I'm craving authentic North Indian food.
The staff is really courteous and professional, they left no stone unturned in providing us with the best service possible.
The food here is really delectable, you should definitely try their Butter Chicken and their Tandoori Chicken if you're a big Non-Veg fan.
The ambience is so unique, the it has a really great vibe.
Definitely gonna go here again.

The restaurant has been serving since 1947 and quite famous for their butter chicken. They also have small ice cream / kulfi counter that taste delicious. Place is a bit small and crowded so not easy to move around. Food is highly average and not much different than other Indian restaurants.
Nothing too special about the food despite the big legendary name behind it.
