Oh wow, yesterday was such a great day, I decided to treat myself to a visit to T&G, based on their "stellar" reviews. Of course, being the adventurous rebel that I am, I didn't make a booking and just strolled in for a haircut and beard grooming.

Let me start with the positives, because there were definitely a few. The staff was "cordial" (smiling and helpful), the salon was "neat and clean" (except for the fact that it would have been better had they kept the AC on), and my hair cut by Danish was "pleasing".

But then came the beard grooming. Oh, the horror! I've had better beard grooming at a roadside barber, and that's saying something. And to top it all off, I saw the stylists on the nearby benches sharing blowers like they were playing a game of hot potato. Seriously, T&G, if you're going to charge those prices, the least you could do is invest in some more blowers. And don't even get me started on the old, unclean cover thingamajig they used.

Overall, I'd say my experience at T&G was a mixed bag. If I were you, I'd skip the hassle and try Urban Clap instead. They may not be as fancy, but at least they'll do a "neater job" (which, let's be honest, isn't saying much). Plus, you don't even have to leave the comfort of your own home!

My mother and I had decided to try Toni & Guy, Gomti Nagar, for haircut. One of the better decisions we have made so far!

The pricing for haircut is a bit on higher end, but indubitably worth it. Sahil and Ibrahim, who worked on myself and my mom respectively, were patient and very clear about what we wanted, and if it suited us or not. The haircut was also meticulously done, and the attention to detail was visible when they were cutting the hair.

Overall, an excellent experience!

Excellent staff special mentions to Sahil who did my spa. Very good at his job can very well say that it was the spa I had in Lucknow till date. Brownie points for Hospitality as well. Overall the service was pretty good would definitely suggest others to come visit Toni & Guy!
