Visited this indian table restaurant today for dinner.the restaurant was fully vacant except for the 5 of us on one table..placed our order for snacks/starters dahi kabab was really superb.spring rolls were ok.peking soup was also ordered for which should have served after the snacks but it was served before the spring roll.the manager was himself taking the orders and serving also and the waiters etc.were just roaming around.when the service of soup before spring roll was questioned upon with the manager he came up with the stupid reply that whatever is prepared first,is served first.we wondered if we had placed our order for the main course maybe we would have been served dal roti sabji first and then soup.when the spring rolls were served they were served in the same plate in which we had eaten dahi kabab and had put aside on the table to have our soup.when the so called manager was asked as to why he was taking the order as well as making service when there were other staff also around,he just casually and again very stupidly said"AA ofre sir,manager Ko sab manage karna padta hai."a very funny reply from a manager who could /would not take work from his subordinates.there was no arrangement to take away used plates immediately.no one was even serving water on his own when the glass became empty.even after dinner when the so called manager came to ask whether there is any further order or else the bill can be put up, he was asked kee bhaiya Pani to pilva deejiye.then he himself poured water in the glasses.when the bill was paid,no mouth freshener was given and had to be asked for which then was provided.not a good experience though ambience,location of the hotel Vaibhav inn in gomtinagar where this restaurant is located was all nice.once again dahee kabab was really superb,rest paneer khurchan,dal moradabadi etc were also ok.tava roti was a nice surprise as mostly restaurants donot serve tava roti.
