Daichi (A Multicuisine Restaurant)

I recently ordered a takeaway, a simple Chicken Chinese Chopsuey. I visited Daichi because of its 5 star rating but it wasn't indeed upto it.
1) Quantity: The quantity was quite mismatched in terms of fried noodles and the chopsuey filling. Probably 3 portions of chopsuey filling might have matched the quantity of noodles. The amount of chicken was negligible with there existing only 6-7 max shredded pieces of chicken in it. I checked the bill twice if indeed I had ordered for chicken base Chopsuey
2) Quality: Now even if quality was fine, there could have been a saviour. The noodles were over fried and had become quite hard rather than being crispy. The chopsuey filler was astonishingly tasteless, the gravy being still fine but their was no amalgamation at all of the gravy with the veggies/chicken/mushrooms. This was a very very disappointing combination. In the end, I had to dish out the chopsuey sauce, and used fried noodles as a side dish (like pappad or fritters) to my homemade Dal chawal.

Probably their Indian foods maybe better, but as the name Daichi (the first one in Japanese) suggests the Daichi experience here was really sub par. The restaurant has a good ambience, well set out in terms of decor, I can say but the food was really not worth it. Being close to my home, and us being a Chinese cuisine fan, Daichi is probably at -5 star rating if it has to take on restaurants like Zao, Kool Break or Chung Fa for Chinese cuisine. Probably the chef needs to take a tour of good Chinese restaurants of Lucknow and understand what is being offered and what nonsense s/he is dishing out here.
As per the name game, there's hardly a good Japanese/Pan Asian cuisine on offer, if Chinese is it's ace game, Daichi is a big disappointment. It needs to work on this, as true Chinese cuisine lovers will understand easily when they eat any Chinese dish at Daichi

Such a wonderful place for party and function . I tried butter chicken and Chinese dishes which is extremely awesome . Soups are really good at such a very good and economical price.

Last but not least I would like to recommend everyone to visit here and try once you willstart loving it ????

Very nice restaurant... Service is awesome.. Thai curry ???? is delicious
