Ma Jangali Devi Tempe is one of the oldest and among the 3 prominent Devi temples in Kanpur . Tapeshwari Devi temple and Barah Devi temple are the other two prominent Shakti Sthals.
Ma Jangali is Devi’s Van Durga Swaroop which is mentioned in Sri Durga Saptshati as well .
This temple attracts devotees from all across the city and nearby areas specially during the Navratri (Navdurga ) .

This is a very powerful place and one can experience extreme peace in the temple .

The temple is maintained very well and kept extremely clean . Daily Aarti is organised where the local devotees and regulars participate with utmost devotion .

Overall a must visit temple . Please visit the place and seek Mata’s blessings.

I have a question regarding the loudspeakers used in the temple

Do the temple trust feels it proud to make the pooja with high volume ?

Do the trust even knows that there are students residing near the temple premisi who might be going through some exams etc.. ?

Does maa jangli devi wont listen to the devotees if the temple dnt uses the loudspeakers in high volume ?

Its a humble request that plz do pray as much as u want but with low sound or without loudspeakers

As the temple isnt situated in an open ground
Its between the residencial and commercial area..

This is a beautiful temple & a devotional space of Devi ji. So many devotees came here regularly to worship. One of the must visit temple of Kanpur city.
