The Sankath Mochan Mandir is situated on the bank of river Maa Ganga. This is basically a temple of Lord Hanuman but all god and goddess are available for worship.
I always try to reach at this temple on Tuesday.

This mandir is called the Sankat Mochan as the main deity is Hanumanji however there are other idols of deities which are worshipped. Specially on Tuesday and Saturday the temple sees a heavy footfall. The temple is clean and has a good area within the temple and gives a soothing effect to mind and body. It has small shops just out side the temple which stocks up all the items required for worship. Similarly the shops also stocks packed and read to eat snacks. On Tuesdays and Saturdays people do donate items to the poor and homeless. People are religious. The temple follows the Hindu ???? calender to celebrate the religious functions and events.
