Kamakhya devi temple is situated on a hill near Kamakhya railway station. The hill on which temple is situated is on the bank of river brahmaputra. People of hindu religion from all over india come here for devi darshan. It is a holly place. Temple opens early morning 04:00am to late night 09:00pm. In between temple closes from 01:00 pm to 03:00 pm. There is separate paid pass for VIP's and free pass for defence personnel. It is suggested to visit the temple early morning. Crowded place.
