The location of this hotel is probably the best feature. It really is in the middle of Dehradun, and once at the hotel you can walk to all the shops etc.

The standard rooms are very average, and don't have windows. While not dirty, they are hardly clean either, and are pretty dingy and depressing.

There is wi-fi in the hotel, which while very slow at times, at least worked. The hotel also has generator back-up.

The breakfast I had in the restaurant was adequate, though the juice had a very strong metallic taste from the can it came from.

Overall, if you are just passing through town, and need somewhere to stay one night, this hotel probably would be convenient and easy. You would probably be wiser to find something nicer and better value for any longer stays.

Service is pretty average also. Expect people to keep knocking on your door, and calling in attempts to get some kind of tip from you for a service provided, and also watch the front desk manager, as he will try to rip you off some how also -- such as swapping the room from the one shown to you, for a worse room and the likes. The usual service and tricks from bad Indian hotel management abounds.

It's good taste is like house food and the chapati (roti) are just awesome and all is that in budget too
